One of the oldest and most diversified fields of engineering is mechanical engineering, which involves the development, construction, and operation of machines. Despite being one of the oldest fields of engineering, mechanical engineering is constantly evolving through its applications in new fields.
Teaching mechanical engineers today at our university includes not only fluid mechanics, heat transfer, machine design, and control, but also applying fundamental principles to exciting new fields such as nanotechnology in order to apply their knowledge to exciting modern challenges. At the undergraduate level, our emphasis on design education provides students with multiple opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects that yield tangible results, as well as a variety of challenging projects with hands-on learning experiences supported by a variety of industry and government organizations. We are looking forward to welcoming you on board as mechanical engineering students.
