Welcome to the Mechanical Engineering Unit at University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Shinas.
The mission of the Mechanical Engineering program at UTAS-Shinas is to craft successful and passionate engineers and technicians who have all the necessary knowledge and skills required to prosper in the field.
Throughout their studies, the Mechanical Engineering program will enable the students to explore technological knowledge in various fields of Mechanical Engineering such as the principles of mechanics, material science, thermodynamics, engineering designs and much more.
At UTAS-Shinas, students have access to well-equipped laboratories, supportive faculty, and enthusiastic peers who are passionate about the teaching and learning process. Additionally, the Mechanical Engineering unit seizes every opportunity towards enhancing students’ proficiency through their interaction with the industry.
Lastly, as part of the Mechanical Engineering unit’s responsibility, it provides courses and trainings in various fields for the community and industry. Certainly, the Mechanical Engineering unit strives to do its utmost contribution to the development of their students and the society.
